To Aim for a PhD or Master's Degree at the Nakano Lab

Nakano Lab accepts students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the III/GSII.

Admission exams for the Department of Mechanical Engineering is usually held around the end of August to early September.

Further, for international students, the IME (International Multidisciplinary Engineering, graduate program) course is available.
Admission will be considered according to your TOEFL and GRE scores etc., as well as various documents such as Letter of Recommendation.
Application through IME is highly recommended for international students.

Admission exams for the III/GSIIis usually held around mid to end of August. Dual application with the Department of Mechanical Engineering is allowed.

Note that with the launch of the above-mentioned IME, we will no longer accept privately financed international students aiming for the graduate school entrance exam as research students. To join the lab, please enter the graduate school through one of the above admissions exams first.
